By using Planigator you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who can use the site
You must be at least 18 years old to make an account, buy credits, or use Planigator. By using the site you confirm that you are 18 or older.
Planigator is made for adult drivers 18 and older. If I learn that someone under 18 has given me personal information, I delete it.
The website
Planigator is a browser trip planner: pickup, drop, HERE© truck routes, leave-by, Off-duty/Sleeper Berth, 30-minute breaks, and leeway. Breaks, rest, ETAs, and traffic times are planning aids. Plans assume a fresh clock; use your truck’s real ELD for legal records. Auto delay figures (Drive, Live load/unload, Pick up and Drop off) are estimates, not guarantees. They are not legal advice and not a guarantee you will arrive on time.
Calculate uses HERE© truck routing for a 53-ft trailer at 80,000 lb, 13 ft 6 in high. Route restrictions come from HERE© map data and can be out of date. Always obey posted signs. These are truck routes, not car, bike, or walk routes.
Signing in
Email sign-in codes are for your own email address only. I limit how many codes can be asked for, and I may block an email address or IP address that misuses it.
Please do not misuse the site: do not try to get around the credit limits, overload or break the site, or get into anyone else's account. I may suspend or delete an account that does.
Credits
The website gives 40 free credits the first time you sign in with Google, a phone number, or an email code. Without signing in you get 5 free credits a day on this device; they come back after midnight Central. Payment details are handled by Stripe at checkout, and nothing is charged without a purchase. Each HERE© answer uses 1 credit. A credit comes back only when HERE© does not answer. Extra packs are 186 credits at $1.49 or 1,500 credits at $12. Packs are one-time purchases. There is no subscription and nothing renews on its own. Used credits stay used.
Aura voices use credits too: about 5.14 credits per 1,000 characters of new speech, rounded up once per trip. Cloudflare voice typing costs 1 credit per use, given back if it hears nothing; Phone and Grok with your own xAI key cost no credits. A phrase already made is free. Start navigation holds those credits, and End navigation gives back what was not used.
Refunds. For a refund question about a credit pack, email support@planigator.help with the Stripe receipt. Used credits are not refunded. Free credits have no cash value. Credits left on an account are lost when the account is deleted, whether you delete it or it is closed under these terms.
Routes and maps
Truck routing is provided by HERE©. Start navigation can ask for location, compass, and motion so the map can follow the truck. Those readings stay on the phone. They are not saved and they are not sent to Planigator. Navigation is a planning aid. Always drive to the conditions in front of you, posted signs, and your carrier’s rules.
Drivers often lose cell service on long and off-grid routes. Planigator is a planning aid and may not work without a signal. Once the app has loaded with a signal, it can reopen offline and keep navigating; Aura voice clips download only if you choose Download at Start navigation. Some features (Recalculate, new voice lines, credits, sign-in) need a signal. Do not rely on it where you have no signal.
Your content and account deletion
Trips stay in this browser unless you sign in with Google, a phone number, or an email code, in which case saved trips and voice memos are stored with that account. You are responsible for what you store. When signed in, you can permanently delete your account and all data stored with it at any time using the Delete account button at the bottom of the Account tab right above the planning aid disclaimer. Deleting your account is irreversible and forfeits any remaining credits on the account after you press Confirm delete and the 10-second cancel countdown finishes.
Inactive accounts. If you do not sign in for 365 days, I send one email to the address on the account saying it will be deleted on day 400 unless you sign in before then. On day 400 with no sign in, I permanently delete the account, its saved trips and data, and its credits, and you would have to sign up again. Any sign in resets the clock. Accounts without an email get no warning email but follow the same 400 day rule.
Closing an account
By you. You can stop using Planigator at any time. To close your account, use the Delete account button on the Account tab as described above, or email support@planigator.help.
By me. I may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms, misuses sign in codes, tries to get around the credit limits, or tries to harm the site or other members. I may also close the site or any part of it. When an account is deleted, its saved trips, data, and remaining credits are deleted with it.
Sharing plans
Share this plan's link saves a copy of the plan on a Planigator server and gives you a short link, https://planigator.help/t/ and a code. Anyone with the link can open the plan. You are responsible for who you give a link to. A link made on or after October 9, 2026 expires 30 days after it was made, and then it no longer opens. Links made before then do not expire.
Send to a Planigator member puts the same copy in that member's Plans shared with you list on a Planigator server, where it expires 30 days after it was sent. The list holds up to 50 plans, and you can send up to 20 a day.
A shared plan includes your first name (if your account has one). A plan sent to a member also says Sent from with the name on your Account tab; if that is blank, the name on your Google account, or a Planigator member if it has none. It does not include your email address or other personal details, and your email address is never shown to the people you share with.
Your own xAI key
If you choose Grok for voice typing and save your own xAI API key, xAI's terms apply to that use and xAI bills your xAI account for it. You are responsible for that key and its charges. I use it only for your own voice typing, and you can delete it anytime on the Settings tab.
YouTube
The YouTube tab uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. How YouTube data is handled is described in my Privacy Policy and in the Google Privacy Policy.
Liability
The website is provided as is and as available, without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or that the site will be free of errors or always available. To the extent the law allows, I am not responsible for missed appointments, driving-rule violations, tickets, fines, damage, or routing mistakes, and my total responsibility for anything to do with the site is limited to what you paid for credits in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana and the United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. If you have a problem with the site, please email support@planigator.help first so I can try to fix it. If we cannot settle it that way within 30 days, the dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Louisiana, and you and I agree to that place. Any claim must be brought on your own behalf, not as part of a group or class action, to the extent the law allows.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms as the site changes. When I do, I change the Last updated date at the top of this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
