Planigator is a truck trip planner that runs in your browser. We do not sell your information. We do not run ads. We do not build a marketing profile of you.

What this website uses

This browser. Trips and HOS settings stay in this browser’s local storage unless you are signed in. Clearing site data deletes what is saved here.

Sign-in. Google sign-in gives 3 free credits and stores the trips you save with that account on a Planigator server.

Credits. Address lookup and Calculate talk to a Planigator server that keeps your leftover credit count and sends the address or coordinates to HERE^©. The first saved debit or credit card adds 9 credits, once per account. A later card on that account does not add another 9. We store the card brand, last four digits, and Stripe’s card fingerprint. We never see the full card number. We do not charge the saved card when the free credits run out. Each address lookup uses 1 credit. Each leg of a route uses 1 credit. A lookup that finds nothing is refunded.

Call log. Each address lookup and truck route is saved with the time, the address or the two points, whether HERE^© answered, and which browser session sent it. That is so a HERE bill can be matched to a person. The log does not include the HERE key.

Share links. After Calculate, Share trip link packs the trip into the page URL. Anyone with that link can open the same plan. We do not host the link.

Location. Only if you tap Start from my location. The browser asks first. That point is used as the start of a HERE^© truck route when you Calculate.

HERE^©. When you Calculate, the server sends those addresses or coordinates to HERE Technologies for a truck-legal route (53-ft trailer, 80,000 lb, 13 ft 6 in). Truck only — not car, bike, or walk. HERE’s policy: legal.here.com/privacy

Payments. Stripe saves the card and charges credit packs. We do not see the full card number. Stripe’s policy: stripe.com/privacy

What we do not do

We do not store location history. Sign-in stores a credit balance and the trips you save to your account. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

Credits

The website gives 3 free credits after Google sign-in, and 9 more the first time that account saves a debit or credit card. Another card later does not add 9 again. Prepaid cards do not get that offer. We do not charge the saved card when the free credits run out. Each address lookup uses 1 credit. Each route leg uses 1. Extra packs are 124 credits at $1.49.
