Planner

Type pickup and drop, or tap Start from my location and allow this site when the browser asks. Calculate asks HERE^© for truck miles and drive hours, then Planigator gives leave-by, 30-minute breaks, Off-duty/Sleeper Berth, and leeway. After Calculate, Share this plan's link makes a short link (https://planigator.help/t/ and a code) and opens the share sheet, or copies the link, so you can send it. Clearing site data deletes what you saved in this browser (account-saved trips stay with your sign-in).

A shared plan, by link or with Send to a Planigator member, is kept on a Planigator server. It has the stops, times, plan, and settings, plus your first name. A plan sent to a member also says Sent from with the name on your Account tab; if that is blank, the name on your Google account, or a Planigator member if it has none. It does not include your email address, and your email address is never shown to the people you share with. A link made on or after October 9, 2026 expires 30 days after it was made, and then it no longer opens; links made before then do not expire. A plan sent to a member stays in their Plans shared with you list for 30 days. That list holds up to 50 plans, and you can send up to 20 a day. More is in the Privacy Policy.

HERE^© truck routing is a 53-ft trailer at 80,000 lb, 13 ft 6 in high. Route restrictions come from HERE^© map data and can be out of date. Always obey posted signs. Truck only. Not car, bike, or walk. Fast picks the least time. Short picks the least distance. Plans assume a fresh clock. Use your truck’s real ELD for legal records.

Start navigation stays on the plan map. The browser asks before it uses location, compass, or motion. Those readings stay on the phone. They are not saved and they are not sent to Planigator. Follow the road in front of you.

Voice typing

Signed in, the Settings tab has Voice typing with three choices: Phone, Cloudflare (the default), and Grok (your own account). For Grok, paste your own xAI API key and tap Save key; xAI then bills your xAI account for your voice typing. If it says xAI did not accept your key, make a new key in your xAI account and save it again. Delete my key removes it from my server. Cloudflare voice typing costs 1 credit per use (it comes back if nothing was heard); Phone and Grok with your own key cost no credits.

Grok Bot

Signed in, the Account tab has Connect Grok Bot. Tap 1. Get pairing code, then 2. Copy message for Grok Bot, and paste that message into your Grok Bot. The copy is one tap, and the message already has your 6-digit code. When your bot connects, Chat shows on the right side of the Nav map. You can type or talk, hear replies read aloud, clear the chat, or disconnect. What I send to your bot is in the Privacy Policy.

Billing and credits

Sign in with Google, a phone number, or an email code for 40 free credits the first time, enough to try a trip. There is no Save a card offer and no extra credits for adding a card. Payment details are handled by Stripe at checkout, and nothing is charged without a purchase. Each HERE^© answer uses 1 credit. A credit comes back only when HERE^© does not answer. Extra packs are 186 credits for $1.49 or 1,500 credits for $12. Packs are one-time purchases. There is no subscription and nothing renews on its own.

Aura voices use credits too: about 5.14 credits per 1,000 characters of new speech, rounded up once per trip. A phrase already made is free. Start navigation holds those credits, and End navigation gives back what was not used.

For a website purchase question or a refund, email support@planigator.help with the Stripe receipt. Used credits stay used and are not refunded.

To delete your account and all saved data yourself, open the Account tab while signed in, scroll to the bottom right above the planning aid disclaimer, press Delete account, and press Confirm delete. A 10-second countdown gives you a chance to press Cancel if you tapped it by mistake; once the countdown finishes, your account data and any remaining credits are permanently deleted.

If you do not sign in for 365 days, I send one email to the address on the account saying it will be deleted on day 400 unless you sign in before then. On day 400 with no sign in, I permanently delete the account, its saved trips and data, and its credits, and you would have to sign up again. Any sign in resets the clock. Accounts without an email get no warning email but follow the same 400 day rule.
